Microsoft Released Windows 10 Cumulative Updates With Fix Printing Issues

On 16 June 2020, Microsoft (American Multinational Company) has launched new cumulative updates intended to fix an issue that has been plaguing every Windows 10’s versions since release of June 2020 cumulative updates. This new updates are currently available for Windows 10 version 1909, 1903, 1809 and version 1803, and has fixed a known issue in which certain printers may be unable to print after applying June 2020 updates released on 9 June 2020. Let’s take have a look at Microsoft statements about the out-of-band updates.

“An out-of-band optional update is now available on the Microsoft Update Catalog to address a known issue in which certain printers may be unable to print after installing updates released June 9, 2020”

Microsoft explained that they have acknowledged the issue on 12 June 2020 reported by many Windows 10 users that claims “Generate an error or close unexpectedly when attempting to print, and as a result of it, no output will come from affected printer.

When we talk about printing issue, numerous users reported that they have faced or facing “printing issues with the applications that they are attempting to print from” like application might close unexpectedly, receiving an error and this printing issue might also affect the software related to printer. Now, this printing issue has been fixed by Microsoft Company and cumulative update with bug fix is now available on “Microsoft Update Catalog”.

Furthermore, Microsoft released cumulative updates KB4567512, KB4567513 and KB4567514 for Windows 10 versions 1909, 1903, 1809 and 1803 respectively. The company recommends Windows 10 users whose devices are affected by this printing issue, to install this cumulative updates. However, like other Windows updates that installs automatically when available, Windows 10 cumulative updates KB4567512, KB4567513 and KB4567514 will not install on Windows devices automatically.

On other hand, Microsoft is currently working on and preparing fix this known issue for other affected Windows versions and release more updates related to it in coming days.
